Who is Franklin Presbyterian Church?

At Franklin Presbyterian Church, our heart’s desire is to make flourishing disciples who make disciples.  Our sincere hope is to make a positive impact for Jesus Christ in Salisbury and beyond; showing the world who Jesus is and why they need Him.

Why does Franklin Presbyterian Church exist?

We believe that we exist for the same reason that the Church of Jesus Christ around the world exists: to know God and to make Him known.
We believe that every Christian should have two major goals: to deepen our own relationship with God and to get equipped to help others know God and deepen their relationship with Him.  Our job as a church is to help believers to accomplish those goals.
As such our mission is to:
  • Reach out to others for Christ
  • ​Grow in faith and commitment through the Holy Spirit
  • Send out the message of God's love to all

How do we accomplish this?

There are 8 essential values that help us achieve our mission:

  • Service - We serve others so that they may see the love of Jesus
  • Worship - We worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth everyday of the week
  • Fellowship - We come together as a body of believers and grow our relationship to one another
  • Connection - We connect on a deeper level with one another and with the community
  • Teaching - We teach the Word of God and equip believers to live for Him and share His Good News
  • Loving - We love others as Christ loves them
  • Giving - We give, not just money, but our time, our talents, our very lives in service to the Kingdom of God in this world
  • Going - Jesus says "Go and make disciples;" so we go into Salisbury and beyond to reach people with the message of the Gospel
