This week, we are continuing our series in Micah with Micah's denouncement of the false prophets who were opposing him. And, this is an important passage for us today because, make no mistake, false teachers and false prophets are just as prevalent today as they were in Micah’s day. There are too many people in the world today who are thinking they are being taught good, sound Biblical doctrine, and they just flat out aren’t.  They're being sold a bill of goods to make them feel good about themselves rather than being taught the true message of the Gospel that they are lost, broken, and without hope; that the only person who can do anything about that is not themselves, it’s Jesus; and the sacrifices that are required to take up their cross and follow Him.  So, what we are going to do today is go over the passage to see how Micah is addressing the false prophets of his day; then, we are going to talk about 3 specific false doctrines that are being taught in America today; and, finally, we are going to talk about what we can do to combat these false teachers and bring people the True Good News.
