This week, we are looking at the messianic prophecy from Isaiah 9:1-7. We are going to be looking at this prophecy in more detail and seeing how it is further evidence that God's plan has been in place, and it has been unfolding how He sees fit, since the beginning of time, through the time of Isaiah, through the life of Jesus, and into today. As we look at this prophecy, we are going to consider what Isaiah is teaching us about who Jesus is. We're going to see that Jesus is going to bring exuberant joy to His people as He defeats their enemies; He is going to be everything we could ever need, and He is going to establish a mighty and perfect kingdom.
