The section of the Bible that contains the book of Micah is known as the “Minor Prophets” and covers all of the books from Hosea to Malachi, twelve books in all.  This is a section of Scripture that often gets passed over and overlooked because the books are small and, oftentimes, they are difficult to understand.  However, it does a great disservice to skip over them because they are as much the Word of God as any other book and, therefore, contain as much Biblical truth. And, specifically with our passage today, it's easy to ask, "What does the destruction of an ancient nation and its capital have to do with us in America in 2024?"  Well, let's talk about that together.
