Micah 7:8-20 "The City On A Hill"

In our passage today, Micah presents us with an image of how it's going to be in the beautiful city of God; how God is going to pick His people up and bring them into the city, and how the city will be a beacon to other nations. But, here’s the kicker: this city already exists in the here and now; it exists in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself is the new temple of God, and we believers, once we accept Jesus, become part of that temple; we become part of the body of Christ. Therefore, WE are the city on the hill calling people to join us in the city; calling them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. So, today, let's consider what that means for us.
