This week, we are starting a new series in 1, 2, 3 John and Jude. In this first chapter of 1 John, we see that John is addressing the issue of living for Christ; that is, living your life in a way to reflect true, orthodox faith in Jesus Christ.  Specifically, we can see John saying in this chapter that, in order to make sure that we are living for Jesus, we must remember that we have the Word of life in our hearts and we must walk in the light.  So, let’s take a look at the chapter together and how we can apply it to our daily lives and our walks with Jesus.
