Micah 6:1-8 "The Indictment"

In this passage, God is calling His people to His divine court proceedings to present them with His indictment against them; to pronounce the charges of rebellion and disobedience to Him and to the covenant that their ancestors had made with Him.  God’s people throughout the ages, even to this very day, have such a strong tendency to rebel against Him and His commands and that rebellion leads us into all sorts of disobedience, from sinful behaviors to completely wrong, and even heretical, theology.  But, what we see is that God, through the prophet Micah, gives us the remedy to this; and that remedy is to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.  So, let’s take a look at God’s indictment against His people together.
