1 John 5:13-21 "Words Of Strength And Encouragement"

As John ends this letter, he ends with words of encouragement and strength for believers who were, quite understandably, feeling discouraged by all of the false doctrine in their churches and the turmoil it had caused. And, what we see John telling us is that, when we are feeling discouraged, we must remember the power and importance of prayer; we must remember that we are called to lift each other up, support each other, and correct each other; and we must remember that, in all things, our Triune God never abandons us. So, let’s look at each of these in more detail together.
